Neurosensorimotor Integration Treatment Sessions

It's the missing link between combined physical and mental health. Primary reflex integration through (re)patterning offers treatment at the neurological and cognitive level designed to improve overall health and wellbeing. You may have tried everything else, but this isn't that!
Treatment sessions are designed based on each client's individual physical and/or mental health needs and can include manual nervous system integration therapy (primarily based on the Masgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration (MNRI) Method), cognitive coaching, or a combination of both. I will listen to your physical and mental health concerns, we will discuss your needs and wants, and then we will work together by way of a client-centered guided treatment process to help you regain a sense of balance and control within your mind and body.

The MNRI Method has been empirically proven to help ease symptoms of PTSD, trauma response, chronic stress and pain, in addition to several behavioural symptoms of anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, ODD, ASD, and more. Sessions are similar to a combined physiotherapy and massage therapy appointment and all work is completed over the clothing making easy transitions into, and out of, treatments. I work with children, adolescents, and adults who need help, and don't stress over thinking your child will 'be too much to handle' through their session - I work with all levels of physical, cognitive, and behavioural function free of judgement, and full of empathy and caring.
Most client's experience noticeable improvement in their symptoms within the first 1-2 sessions, so you will know quickly whether or not this type of treatment is beneficial for you! I do what I do because I know it works - and you're worth the investment! To book a 60-minute or 90-minute Session, click the button below.

Please note, if you intend to use insurance to cover expenses please check with your provider to determine applicability as MNRI is typically covered under wellness spending accounts.

More About
Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration

Neurosensorimotor reflex integration differs from the typical treatment options for trauma, stress, pain, and behavioural issues because it works on the level of the nervous system via manual therapy. The sensory, proprioceptive, and motor facilitation offered in the sessions (re)activates and (re)integrates areas within the nervous system that are lacking in connectivity, creating a barrier between thought and action.

The client doesn't have to be mentally engaged in the process for it to work because it acts on the millions of sensory, proprioception, and motor receptors throughout the body to repeatedly stimulate neural activation, leading to significant and rapid improvement in connection between neurons. This increased neural communication can often lead to visible and tangible behavioural improvements that become evident even after just a few sessions.

Once the primary reflexes become integrated into the developed/developing nervous system, they no longer interfere with unconscious action and cognitive processing which impacts everything we feel, think, do, and say, within our day!

At this point in the process, emotional intelligence training and coaching can of better help in the development process. Often, children, adolescents, and adults who have been restricted by unintegrated primary reflexes can fall behind in their cognitive, emotional, and social development, and while not everyone requires both reflex integration and EQ development, I can help you determine if either, or both, could be of benefit.

I've seen children, adolescents, and adults become visibly frustrated because even though they knew the action I was asking of them should have been simple, they just couldn't do it. I help the developmental process by first letting them know they are not broken, but instead have a few 'wiring' issues in their system that we can work through. That it's okay if it's not simple right now. Because once we do the work to 'light up' some of the communication highways (neural pathways) between their brain (which is offering the direction), and their body (or the part of their body they're attempting to control), they'll soon be able to respond appropriately. We just need to 're-wire' the nervous system a little (or sometimes, a lot). In continuing to deepen the new neural pathways, clients not only integrate active primary reflexes and can finally 'do' the movements that once felt impossible, or difficult. More than this, though, these new neural pathways they've established begin to work on creating ease in other areas of cognitive, emotional, and social development because each of these behavioural processes also become unblocked by offering new pathways of least resistance.
A lot of people think it sounds too good to be true, or that it sounds kind of wizardry, but it's truly just good neuroscience. I changed my entire career to focus on the practice of a combined neural and psychological therapy, because once I learned about it and thoroughly researched it, it just made so much sense that I started asking myself and others in the profession "why isn't this standard practice in all medical, physical, and psychological therapeutic programs?" I'm sure there are a lot of reasons why, however, based on my own research I believe the biggest of them include the fact that it removes focus from the pharmaceutical economy, it takes more than the 15 minutes most doctors are willing/able to give, and because in the Western world we've created a deep stigma against simple healing practices despite their proven efficacy.
Neurosensorimotor reflex integration certainly won't work for everyone - no more than medication, surgery, physio, or psychotherapy will. But its rate of success is much higher than many of the typical treatments and therapies that are considered current 'go-to' options by doctors and other specialists.

Even if you're a sceptic, if you're experiencing trauma, stress, chronic pain, or behavioural struggles, make the commitment to book just 2-3 sessions with me over the next couple of weeks and see how you feel once they're done. Yes, it's an investment, but you might find that you get a lasting relief that offers you your life back. Isn't it worth a try?
